EDITOR'S NOTE: Some of you may have been waiting for the American Buffalo 1-ounce for some time. Well, the release date is getting close. At 0.9999 purity, this fine gold piece will finally be available for purchase this Spring. There will be no ordering limits for this piece, and pricing will soon be announced the closer we get to the date. Although owning gold bars is a solid way to invest in "sound money," numismatics add extra value to your investment. Comparing the plainness of bars to the artistry of coin designs is like comparing apples and oranges (the comparison is universes apart). Plus, coins often represent the historical significance of the year they were minted (such as today…as we are living through a major historical shift on a global scale). Something to think about.

The U.S. Mint has yet to specify a release date for the Proof 2022-W American Buffalo $50 gold coin.
