Biden Exclaims That He "Beat Pharma This Year"... But Did He?

EDITOR'S NOTE: In President Biden’s big Labor Day speech in Milwaukee, perhaps it would have been more fitting for him to have appended this fragment to his clause: “I have been fighting pharma for my entire career, and [I] finally”...made the industry much more profitable than any of my predecessors! Instead, we got another big lie: “We finally beat pharma!" Thanks to Biden’s vaccine mandates, big pharma is raking in the cash, so we can’t even call Biden’s declaration of victory a nuanced spin. An “alternative fact” maybe, if he’s going along the same route as Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway. And this brings to the fore a word of caution: if you accept or promulgate any form of alternative facts to advance a political agenda, expect the same to be done against your position. Americans had to swallow Biden’s alternative facts regarding inflation and recession. Big pharma is just the latest in a string of more to come. Perhaps his warning of the fragile state of American democracy is also an alternative fact. Or not. Americans can’t seem to distinguish preferred statements despite their untruths from verifiable facts; yet another symptom of the decline of a once-great empire.

During a Labor Day speech in Milwaukee Monday, Joe Biden screamed that he “beat pharma this year” despite the fact that he provided billions in record profits for the pharmaceutical industry by attempting to enforce vaccine mandates.
