The 2 oz British Silver Queen’s Beast Coin made its debut in 2016, marking the commencement of the series. With this, the Royal Mint released its inaugural 2 oz silver bullion coin. Over the series' span, 10 unique designs were launched: one each in 2016 and 2021, and two annually from 2017 to 2020.

All British Silver Queen’s Beast Coins feature Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse side. Every coin proudly displays the fifth-generation depiction of Her Majesty, crafted by Jody Clark. This rendition captures the Queen in a right-profile relief, adorned with the George IV State Diadem Crown.

The reverse side of the 2 oz Silver Queen’s Beast Coins is graced by various emblematic creatures. The series initiated in 2016 with the Lion of England motif and culminated in 2021 with the White Greyhound of Richmond.
